Vinnies ‘Outer Eastern Conference’ is home to youth passionate about social justice activities. Currently the group is buzzing, with 10-12 regular volunteers, many shenanigans, lots of positive impacts being had and some serious passion for serving others floating in the air!! Anyone between the ages of 16-35 is warmly welcome to come on down! We meet normally once a fortnight.
We run the following activities:
- Home visitations (visiting disadvantaged families in the area in real need of basic necessities such us food, furniture etc.)
- Kids activities (we run fun activities like cooking competitions, going to dark zone etc. for kids in the area
- Soup vans (those wishing to visit the streets of Melbourne on Soup Vans also have this opportunity through St. Vinnies)
- Fundraising Events (St. Vinnies runs many fundraising events to continually be able to fund its works)
- Personal activities (there is huge scope for you to come up with your own ideas to have a positive impact on the community!!)
