Renovation @ Holy Spirit - It’s Divine!

On Wednesday the 16th November 2016, a number of parishioners attended a very inspirational evening in the company of around 325 people from across the Melbourne Archdiocese and beyond. The guest speaker for the event was Fr. James Mallon, Parish Priest of St Benedict’s, Halifax, Nova Scotia (a province of Canada). Highly acclaimed for his work with parish renewal and the New Evangelisation, Fr James shared practical ways to inject new life into parishes. (Refer this account from Daniel Ang, Director of the Office for Evangelisation in the Diocese of Broken Bay, NSW).

Parish Pastoral Council Christmas Message 2016

We welcome new members because of the difference that each person can make.

The time commitment is not onerous. The PPC meets monthly from February to November for no more than one hour and a half each meeting. However, members may be asked to volunteer to help at special masses or functions at the parish. There will also be a half day formation session on a Saturday early in the year.

Weekly attendance is encouraged, but if a candidate is unable to make it on any particular week, they can still read the subject matter from the provided book.
